Aluminium Tube Dimensions and Technical Specifications

For round products, aluminium tube diameters are generally stated based on the outer diameter. - Ø30–32 mm aluminium tube: May be used in display and retail systems, lightweight railings, furniture and decorative structures.

- Ø40 mm aluminium tube: One of the commonly used diameters for handrails, railings, grab bars and similar applications. However, the appropriate diameter should be determined according to ergonomics and design requirements.

The basic formula used to calculate the weight of an aluminium tube per metre is as follows:
Weight (kg/m) = π × [(D² − d²) / 4] × ρ

Where:
D = Outer diameter of the tube (mm)
d = Inner diameter of the tube (mm)
ρ = Aluminium density (approximately 2.70 g/cm³ or 2700 kg/m³)
